24 whole hours? Wow!
I think the discussion started out so actively because it is VERY unusual for the state to take such definitive action against an agency. In the past 25 years, I can count on one hand the number of times such action was taken. THAT was "news".
Congratulations to them for getting things straightened out and being ALS again.
And if you've spent any time in this forum you know that even the most contentious discussions peter out after time. Big deal.
Agreed I guess ESA/HVP/Care 1/EMStar should get a pat on the back for only losing their ALS credentials for a month or so. Best of luck to the new string of managers to peter through the doors.
-
At least they leave the ambulettes the same.
No doubt...... Cheap signs here too! That and flat white paint by the 55 gallon drum.
-
That is correct. Care1 now shares with EMStar a management team that staffs 150 trucks daily and runs well over 100,000 calls a year.
I hope the Empire State Ambulance/Hudson Valley Paramedics/Care 1 EMS reputation changes with the 4th DBA...4th times a charm I guess.

Just a clarification that the union posted today, you need a valid license (any state) to APPLY. You'll need a valid CT license by the time of appointment.Thank you. That was going to be my question. So close to NY and have to have a CT license only lol

MTA to make a decision soon if suspension is needed...MTA Subway/Buses and Metro-North/LIRR will be suspended at 7pm Sunday 10/28 if a decision to suspend is made.

And slowly but surely the NWS and NOAA is bringing it much to our south. Rainfall amounts now between 2-4 inches. Hype!!

I dont think its fair to trash a team that made it to the SC Finals and say you "Despise" them. Then take such offense to someone asking you how many Stanley cups your team has won. Come on! You make the thread, handle the comments.

I just placed a call to the vulcan society. I was informed that if you signed up for the FDNY exam and were chosen by the society to recieve an email you are invited to the test preps. That is all.

Is playland still hiring EMS?

Nathan stated it perfectly! Has anyone ever heard of an area where someone is contracted going to someone completely different on off hours after a year into the contract...so dispatching the first company dosent waste time?
-
The posting say 14.54$ an hour....is that right?

Ironically Care1EMS just went mutual aide to Phillipstown with a BLS unit for an MVA.
