  1. Yep....another big parade fire company, with the biggest band money can buy .
  2. I think the best part of this whole video is.......the fact there is four to five firefighters and one chief in front of this burning store front and the camera guy has to tell the guys to get a "can" to put the fire out !!!!! I just don't get it ??
  3. After watching that short video ...I can see why the building burned to the ground.
  4. That Glenbrook truck is nice !!
  5. That was the most ridicules' video/fireman's parade I've ever seen, how no one gets killed or injured is a miracle.
  6. Seth, Nice photos, Love the Mount Kisco Mack....quick question, why do they have a firemans parade on a Wednesday ??
  7. Engine, tanker, pumper,....what ever you call it, it has a big hose bed with not much supply hose on it ???
  8. Call me .....and I will call you.
  9. Victims are considered to be entrapped when they cannot leave the vehicle because parts of the body or the whole body is confined in the distorted vehicle after impact, injured or not. Such a situation requires special extrication/tools needed to help remove the victim would be considered entrapment.
  10. FIRST....I was not there, but my god ...You add all that water from engines and tankers, you could have put out the WTC fire on 9-11.
  11. Your right... frame rails, cab, body, some of the most important parts, I have been personally at E-One, Pierce, Sutphen, American LaFrance, and Salisbury (body only) plants thru out my career. Once you seen how each are made from the inside out , and not just the pretty outside, you to will respect how Seagrave is built. There is reasons why some of the biggest and busiest city's in this country use Seagrave. Note :I am NOT a salesman.
  12. Man....some people just don't get it, we may not like it, but....its how the law is written.
  13. Nothing built like a Seagrave.
  14. New Hamburg Fire District, Town of Poughkeepsie. Seagrave engine on order end of summer time frame for delivery.
  15. First off... love this topic, love hydraulics when it comes to GPM, NP, NR. I see Morningside,MD engine "off the rear" has a 400' 1 3/4" preconnected with a fog nozzle. Just curious... what kind of pump pressure do you pump, to get the correct nozzle pressure (fog nozzle) on that long lay or on a third/forth floor fire with that small line ??? I have been told by smarter people then me, NO more then six lengths on the 1 3/4 hand line.
  16. I will support Jet Blue next time I need a ticket for vacation !!!
  17. Ferrara fire apparatus is junk !!, poorly built, s*** paint, bad customer service. I say in 10 years Ferrara will be out of business.
  18. Hey, its a start in the right direction, I appalled all involved.
  19. Good for the chauffeur...I wish I was driving. Seeing that fire on arrival, minutes count... I cant stand cops that need to park so close... its happened to me many of times. We block the road ...the cops want to arrest us.
  20. Thanks Capt., they say you learn something everyday.......??
  21. First ..nice engine, love the low hose bed. Question,... what is that on the top rear of the engine, looks like a step or some kind of hook ???
  22. Big deal....you give them the narcan and within a hour of entering the ER, the PT is leaving looking for a fix because they get pissed off you revised the high. It is a revolving door at the ER dept. in Poughkeepsie with this drug addicts doing heroin . Forget the narcan STOP THE DRUGS.
  23. Lightweight wood frame, meant to burn, cheap, replace when it burns, firefighters nightmare.......is that in the building code books???
