Otisville will remain by itself, owned by the village. The town of Mt. Hope approved the new district. There will be NO joint district.

For even more confusion is when you have three station 34's in three counties that work together. Pike County Pa, and soon to be Orange County # system are alike, but have some difference. Sullivan # system is like Ulsters.
Orange-34 Otisville, Sullivan-34 Westbrookville, Pike (pa)- 34 Millrift.

Those of you who have them on your apparatus (specifically volunteer depts) do you make it mandatory for ALL members to be CPR and AED certified?
Yes all must be CPR / AED, We also have 10 EMT's and several CFR's
-
We carry a total of 6 AED's every apparatus carries one, along with a trauma bag and O2 bag. Mini Pumper, Engine, Rescue, and Tower carry stokes and backboards. Tanker carries backboards . Brush truck ( no backboards)

Do you find that you use the 8 man cab, or could you get by with a smaller cab with fewer seats?
Quite often it rolls out the door with a full crew especially when going on a mutual call.

Its interesting to see a tanker on a custom chassis. Most of the tankers you will find are on commercial chassis. Are there any major advantages to putting a tanker on a custom chassis?
We run a spartan gladiator cab chassis , with an 8 man cab, 3000gal / 50 class A&B/ 2000 gpm, At 41 ft long, with a tighter turning radius than commercial cab/chassis.

Who else had Compac's in the area besides Yonkers? Don't believe this is a Yonkers rig..........from the pics i've seen on here, the only 2 door Compac engine that YFD had, was the refurbed ALF with the front suction, and I don't see any front suction.
KJ in Orange county had one

I worked a show on Monday night in NJ . We had a shell go off in the gun. ( 5" shell ) It took out several racks, we then shut down 4 modules until it was determined the extent of damage. 2 modules were then turn back on, while 2 module remained off in the affected area. Computer controlled firing system. No fall out ever entered the public viewing area.
