  1. Personally I say it depends on the alarm (obviously) - anything on the highway, the more visible the better, but other situations where they're dedicated to the rig, pants alone would suffice. Our drivers typically wear a coat. It's on each rig and identifies them as the driver of that apparatus.
  2. agreed! Someone needs to be held accountable and made example of. Walmart corporate hopefully steps in and takes care of this persons family.
  3. I'm going with that idea as well. It doesn't look like a specific person he's targeting, just emotions running high.
  4. Great post. I completely agree. It seems the general attitude towards many of these issues has become so lax. Seems so many of our first responders have let their guard down quite a bit in all aspects and don't take it as seriously anymore. We're seeing the effects all around. We all need to be held to a higher standard.
  5. You are 100% correct. I've seen said instructors/officers your talking about. We even discussed it the day it happened. It is a safety concern and also with any other bad habit, it spreads like wild fire.
