According to my source on company 2 there was some debate yes was put up for company members vote They approved Hence the All black Rescue I would of like to of seen a black over red as so they could sent the Engine out for a black top half paint job but this choice is nice something quite different for our area

Great clip shows a lot of the battle of this stubborn fire The building involved had a lot of false ceiling & voids There were also some issues with water pressure Every town in The East Bergen Mutual Aid was called to the scene some with 2 pieces ( Ridgefield Engine 2 &Engine 3 Fort Lee Ladder 1 &Fort Lee Engine 1) I believe this was the First time Palisades Parks new XT Ladder Truck operated at a mutual aid fire Was great seeing all of Cliffside's Aerial Pieces flowing water

The boro is the one cutting the check & each fire company Specs out the piece they are looking to purchase Have seen a few Dept's spec out same exact pieces before though Example Rutherford with their last Pumpers purchased

Cliffside Park NJ Ordered a new Ford F 4WD Series Braun to replace an older unit this is their 4th Braun & Going back to Ford F Series Chassis Their Police & EMS acquired 2 ATV's for use during heavy snow storms

There was a special operations team here in my area of bergen county that was combined Volunteer & a career dept few years back that responded for confined space & collapse calls They were well trained & had plenty of resources I believe the state USAR Task Force is now called in now no idea what happened to this team We also have The East Bergen Repel team witch is all volunteer that responds to Repel jobs as well as confined space jobs it's well run & trains constantly I believe Englewood fire (career dept ) has Repel trained members that can respond as well

Latest on Englewood Cliffs Pierce Velocity Pumper it will become EC1 & Its due by the end of the year The Hahn EC 3 is being traded in to Pierce

North Bergen is a paid EMS outfit run out of 2 stations in the township The mayor & commissioner thing on the doors is a long time thing in northern Hudson County
