Finally caught Demerest’s New Freightliner M2 King cab Braun unit 427  at The ER this am  This is Their new color scheme also  A member of the crew commented back LED lights bright  no need for Chevrons !!!

At approximately 4:27 PM The Englewood Cliffs Fire Dept was Toned Out for a motor vehicle accident with Entrapment at Slyvan Ave(Route 9w) & Charlotte Place Also Dispatched was Englewood Hospital & Medical Center EMS 236 232 ALS 213 Tour Chief 294  Fire Dept unit’s on scene EC 2 (Rescue/Pumper)  & EC8 (Deputy Chief)  Unit’s found a 3 vehicle accident 1 car 1 SUV & An empty NJ Transit bus Driver of the SUV was extracted via door pop and he & the driver of the 2nd car were taken to Englewood Hospital ALS 213 triaged Driver at scene & released to the bls crew

The 2 East Bergen Dept’s  Ridgefield & Fairview Are specing Pumpers For Engine 4 (Ridgefield) & FV 3 (Fairview) Ridgefield’s waiting on 2018 Capital Budget (they were shot down for this year) Fairview is specing But believe almost ready for it to be put out for bid  Will be interesting to see 3 big Tower Ladder orders coming in the next 3 years in east bergen Edgewater Cliffside Park & Englewood Cliffs  All up there in age

Englewood Fire Dept (career) Does Group Recall When ever There's  working fire or a piece goes Mutual Aid out of town (for that its usually to staff an other aerial & engine)

In New York news, City of Middletown (Orange) seeking bids for a new rescue pumper, and Pine Bush is said to have acquired a 2005 American LaFrance/LTI mid-mount platform (ex-Summit, NJ) to replace their Mack Aerialscope.   

 

Kauneonga Lake (Sullivan Co.) recently placed into service a new Pierce Enforcer pumper.

Englewood Cliffs Engine 1 has been completed & will be coming East To the local Pierce Dealership within the next 2,weeks

Rosenbauer on order similar spec's to seacaucus Also Cliffside Park's Pierce Pumper is on the XT Chassis slated for Engine 5
