  7. You keep saying you guys are professionals and you know the risks and I'm sure you are/do, but so are the Police officers. They are doing there job! And that job happens to be keeping people behind the yellow tape. What it really comes down to is she broke the law. And maybe the civilians walking in the background got through because the police officer was busy dealing with the PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER.

Car 1 taking command. 07:03-Per command Extrication starting. 07:17-Per command patient has been extricated. 07:27-Command advising of a passing car that has reported another accident on the NB side just south of Exit 36. E4 R5 Car1 will be responding from SB accident, Car 2 will now have command of SB accident. 07:33-R5 on scene reporting one car into a tree, no extrication. R5 will have command. 07:35-E4, Car 1 returning. R5 to stay on scene. 07:45-All units clear of SB accident. 08:05-R5 clear of NB accident.

  11. Date: 11/15/07 Time: 14:31 Location: RT. 15 NB between Exits 37 and 38. (Town Line) Units Operating: Norwalk Fire-E1, R2, C2. New Canaan Fire-E4, R5. Norwalk and New Canaan EMS. CSP, NCPD, DOT. Description Of Incident: Single Pickup truck head on into a tree. Two occupants in vehicle with serious injuries. The driver needed to be extricated from the truck. Both patients were removed from the truck within 10 min. and transported to Norwalk Hospital by Norwalk and New Canaan EMS. DOT sand truck called in for a large amount of fluids on the roadway.   12. To me, it looks like they had a great spot right on the street. Then again we only see a very short part of this fire, which I'm shore was a long one. So who knows what happened before...
  13. I have heard the tape and there is no real big argument between the two. All the Firefighter wanted to hear was that the ambulance was on it's way and the dispatcher failed to tell him this at any point in the tape that I heard, even though one had been sent. The dispatcher just kept asking questions and I know they have rules they have to follow, but just mentioning that an ambulance was on the way would have solved the whole problem, I think. I will try to get the recording and post it.

NCPD, CSP Description Of Incident: Car into a tree with one trapped and fire. Writer: LT. 22 20:47-Command reporting fire being Knocked down and extrication has started. 20:52-Fire is out and patient has been extricated.

Writer: LT. 22 12:51-Units dispatched to above address for the MVA With extrication. 12:52-Car1 responding. Dispatch advising that State police is on scene and has RT. 15 shutdown. Units are to get on the wrong way at exit 36 and head south in the northbound lanes. 12:55-Car1 on scene with a 2 car MVA, confirming extrication needed for one. 12:58-Command advising extrication has started. 13:05-Extrication complete.

Setting up command post in rear parking lot. E5 on scene. 02:01-Command reporting all companys working. Need another engine for RIT.(E3) 02:19-Command reporting fire has extended into the attic and has fire showing from the roof. Requesting all city apparatus (E1 E4) and mutual aid for station coverage. 03:39-Command reporting under control.
