I think some of these comments miss the mark. The issue is not about censorship it's about civility. I have never enjoyed the forums to which I subscribe where they become a constant antagonistic environment. I would hope EMTBRAVO would be above all that.
If two people want to argue about some topic in a childish, name-calling manner, let them take it to PM or better still, some other site.
Bickering is not why I come here. BTW, I am all for debate and encourage it, but it's when it gets personal rather than a discussion of facts or beliefs that I think it goes overboard.

Those 45 Medics are fun to work with on the radio. With a job that accompanies a lot of stress, it's good to have a little professional fun once and a while.
Aren't you allowed to chuckle on air. This was so good but the WCDES dispatcher seemed to ignore it.
And *YES* the 45 Medics are tremendous people!

60: okay you cut out before, are you available?
45M2: Yeah, I'm flattered I'm married, but I'm in service
60: Eleven eighteen hours
45M2 -- press the button and wait for the beep before speaking (VERY FUNNY)
60: -- very professional (in case tapes ever get into the media's hands), but please tell me you were laughing on the inside

What controllers would you recommend? Any sites you recommend who have reasonable pricing?

I am trying to add lights to my 2010 Prius for use when I respond with my local VAC. I don't want to put anything on the dash and nothing magnetic (or otherwise)on the roof or anywhere on the exterior.
I am looking to take advantage of the LED lights that the Prius using for headlights and brake lights in the back. I will also be looking to add green LED in the grill work in the front. Maybe a light stick on the inside of the trunk lid in the smaller window.
Has anyone done anything like this in a Prius? Any suggestions / guidance? What vendors would you recommend for the LED units? What system controllers would you recommend -- which should I stay away from.
Thanks

It's no longer a COURTESY it's the LAW.
Governor Cuomo today signed legislation expanding New York State's "Move-Over" Law to volunteer firefighters and ambulance workers.
The measure (S.7938/A.8702-A) requires drivers to slow down and move over a lane when approaching a vehicle with flashing blue or green lights that are operated by volunteer firefighters or ambulance workers involved in a roadside emergency.

Never the less, drive like your life depended on it.
(**** CLARIFIED POST: this is only for roadside activities and NOT for responding to a scene or department building. There is still no obligation for drivers to yeild when responding - maybe the next bill. It appears some people misunderstood the meaning of the legislation.)
