I always heard that the Farmer's Almanac is like 85 to 95% right every year. Don't know what they are saying for the winter but if someone does pass it along and see if it is true. Stay Warm and Safe.

As Far As I Have Known When New Hackensack Gets A New Chiefs Truck It Goes To 52-1, Then 52-1 Old Vehicle Goes To 52-2, Then 52-2 Old One Goes To 52-3, Then 52-3 Old One Goes To 52-9, Then 52-9 Gets Sold. Hillside Lake Fire Company Bought The Old 52-9 About 6 Years Ago And Since Has Been Sold. Good Luck New Hackensack Fire Department.

The East Fishkill Fire District Has The Dutchess County Convention This Year. From What I Know It Is 8/10/2012. Also, As Far As I Know It Is Being Linked In With Hopewell Hose Fire Company's 100th Anniversary. If I Hear More I Will Post It ASAP!!!

RIP to the young lives that were lost!!! The Marist family has a tragedy to deal with now!!! The Fire, Police, And EMS did the best that they could. Everything happens for a reason!!! Let's pray for the ones that have died, the families involved, and the service people that were on scene!!! Remembering the ones that died should be all that matters!!!

Watching Law & Order SVU now, and seen it on other shows, but is it real FDNY and NYPD personnel operating at the scenes of MVA's or fires, or are they actors? Is it considered training if it is them? Also, are they in service, or reserve rigs? Thanks in advance!

East Fishkill has 3 refurbished from USTanker and New Hackensack is a USTanker...LaGrange has 2 I don't recall where they got them from, but all 5 are driver and one firefighter with 3,000 gallons of water aboard. I like them, but that is my opinion. Good luck on your new rig when you finally get it.
