  5. I would say, if thier is visiable fire on arrival of the first unit, then you have a working fire. Thomas
  6. Make them reserve engine's and buy new ones. The last one looks like it was close to some sort of explostion. Thank god it was a fire truck and not a firefighter. Fire trucks can be replaced, we can't be. Thomas
  7. Anyone have pictures or a website, so we can see them? Thomas
  8. On 6/13/08 I had to travel to Fishkill, while this call was going on. So I got some pictures of the fire trucks that were on stand by. This is my real first time taking pictures, not useing my camera phone. So I hope you guys and gals enjoy. Thomas Hughsonville 45-32 Heading to the hydrant for more water. 9. It actually isn't a camera phone. It is a Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS Digital Camera. By far the best camera I have ever used. Thomas

  11. I really liked this show. I think it was good to see how something we use everyday is made. But I did have a couple of questions that maybe you all can help me with. How did they keep a tiller straight while making a left hand turn? Does Pierce or any other fire apparatus allow tours for the public? I saw San Diego and Las Vegas on there. Was anyone's fire truck, or self on there? Thanks for your help. Thomas

  22. Chelsea did have a structure fire. Also, the next mutial aids would be Arlington, but they were too busy. New Hackensack was on standby in New Hamburg quaters (Station 2) and I believe Roosevelt was at thier other quaters (Station 1). Also, Hughsonville and Village of Wappingers and the Dutchess County Fire Investgation Team were operating on that scene. Also, it seems like the stom went up Rt. 9, then went over LaGrange area. Thomas
  23. Why not? Deep down inside of us we are all buffs. Plus, when someone asks, hey did hear a call in this area. You can say, no, but I read it on EMTBravo. Also, we can learn from incidents that are posted. You think it is worth posting, then post it. Thomas
  24. I think I have fallen in love. That is an awesome truck. But who's is it? Where is it stationed? What does it do? Thomas
  25. The building of Katz & Unterreiner Inc. at the coner of Rt. 9 & Myers Coners. Has fire tape around it, broken windows, and the roof is cut. Kinda looks like a training. Doesn't look like thier was a fire, but I was just woundering if it was training or a call??? Thanks in advance. Thomas
