  1. I heard a couple of guys discussing this at the Mechanicstown wetdown last week. They were concerned about whether Middletown's new engine was far enough along that it might get done before this big order got underway, or if it would get pushed aside until after. I didn't hear the specifics of what it's status is, but there was plenty of KME people around (and a few extra New Deliveries on display) so I'm sure somebody must have found out something.
  2. Does anyone know if Blauvelt (Rockland County) has scheduled a wetdown for it's new Pierce engine? Saw it on Tyler Fire's new delivery page, and it's really nice. Would love to go get some pics of it, and wetdown would be just as good a time as any. Can't seem to find a website for them, so no way to contact them and make arrangements otherwise.
  3. Could've sworn there was a reply or two here the other day? Hopefully I didn't miss somebody posting the date before whatever led to the deletions went down.
  4. I like it. I'm on another Invision board elsewhere (non-fire related) so I'm already somewhat familiar with the layout. Haven't been around here long enough to say that I'll "miss" the old one, but like has been said, if it works, go for it.
  5. Saw a flyer for this today, a copy of which also appears on their website. The time is 7-11 PM.
  6. Hmmm......references to a "Death March" and a "Platform". Wonder who that is? (hehehehe)
  7. If anyone's familiar with the KME tower up in Mechanicstown (Orange County), the price tag shouldn't be that much of a shocker. The KME came in somewhere between $850,000 and 1.2 mil, depending on the source believed. It's got just about everything under the sun on it, whether necessary or not.
  8. Can you tell me the start point and/or route of the parade? Thanks!
  9. Glad to know they've set a wetdown date. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it....much as I'd like to. Too many other things to choose from that day. Is a VERY nice rig you've got yourselves there. =D>
