  3. You can also use lcd screen wipes or even alcohol swab wipes, cleans the surface well and any liquid evaporates quickly without risking shorting anything out.

  6. Working with Blackberries everyday at work I can tell you they are only as good as your service provider. Nextel offers two however the actual data speed is relatively slow compared to the others such as Cingular's Edge network or even the regular Sprint network. Data plans vary and can get pretty expensive. You will also be at a loss functionality wise if you don't have it attached to an enterprise server as that gives many more options for other java based applications to run. Check out this link to the Rim site and you can see for yourself the different models and carriers. http://www.rim.net/products/index.shtml
  7. Thoughts and prayers out to him and his family.
  8. Employment at will is a b1tch!! Civil services in many cases must wait out the contracts of the union providing the service if so or most likely a buy-out clause... good luck to everyone working for the city.

  21. Oh please its Christmas give it up.
  22. All that is basic engine ops, a lot of things can change how you would innitiate an attack, depending on the way you pull up to the call where the hydrant is if you have to find another hydrant, one isnt working... your water source has poor pressure the list goes on.... Each situation dictates your attack.
  23. Nope, no engine yet, there were a few construction shots on Ferarra's site, not to sure what happend to them.
  24. Town of Fairfield gets them donated to use, doesn't take up much space in the o2 bag. Some peoples pets are just like another member of the family, great thing to have if they can be supplied.
  25. Adaptablity I think is the key to responding to any emergency of a scale such as that, there are so many factors to include that not any one situation is the same as the last or will be the same as the future. It is hard to plan for such an event and when you do like I just mentioned there are always the other factors that can change. Train well, know the/your surroundings well, and be prepared to overcome the obstacles that will lie in the way to try and get the job done. Bigfitz PS don't forget Port Chester Responds to the airport on the innitial run as well.
