You will never fix stupidity, last year we had the same driver strike the King St. overpass on the Hutchinson/Merrit Parkway not once but TWICE in a one or two month period....the only joke is which state gets the cleanup job depending how far the driver makes it under the bridge without spilling the cargo.

It is with deep regret and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Retired Career firefighter of IAFF Local 1971, long time member and Past Captain of Reliance Engine and Hose Co. # 1 of the Port Chester Fire Dept. He was a great, charismatic guy, brother to Reliance member Fred Santucci, father to Reliance member Bryan Santucci, uncle to Reliance member Christopher Santucci and will be truly missed by his friends and family at the PCFD.   9. What kind of back up power systems do your firehouses have out there? Is the whole place supplied by generator? What about for Radio communications?

Date: 7/31 Time: 10:50 Location: 103 Adee St. Frequency: 46.06 46.26 PCFD Fireground Units Operating: Cars 2392, 2393 Engine 58, 61,63, Ladder 31, Rescue 40 Weather Conditions: Overcast mild Description Of Incident: Caller reported smoke in the bakery. Upon arrival units found fire in hood and duct work, Ladder 31 requested to roof. Fire was reported knocked down shortly there after. Car 2392 requested Westchester County C&O, Health Dept. and Con Ed gas and electric.
