This accident occurred Wednesday, October 28th at approximately 10:50am on Titusville Rd. I/A/O Titusville Heights in the La Grange Fire District. Two vehicles - An Acrura sedan and a Honda Ridgeline pickup struck head-on on a curve in the rain slickened roadway. The Ridgeline flipped on its side and the occupants of each required extrication and were all transported ALS to St Francis Trauma Center in Poughkeepsie..... La Grange was assisted at the scene by the Arlington and New Hackensack Fire Departments. It was raining heavily during the extrication which presented many additional challenges for personnel and made it all but impossible for me to see through my viewfinder..... Another good job by LFD!

First shot in..... It was raining heavily....... The driver of the Acura and one of two occupants of the Ridgeline were quickly extricated and transported prior to my arrival...

Firefighters used an on-scene wrecker to help stabilize the Ridgeline...

Firefighters and Medics work to extricate the last occupant of the Ridgeline as the heavy rain continues.....

La Granges Rescue 47-55 operates at the scene.....

Personnel remove the second of two occupants of the Ridgeline using their "EMS umbrella" to keep the patient dry.....

New Hackensack Captain Chris Morely strikes a pose with an EMS umbrella as crews stabilize their patient.... The "EMS umbrella" which is something I personally have never seen, worked out quite well....

    Time to clean up......

The roof was peeled down for patient access.....

    Time to flip......

Back on three of four wheels.....
