  1. I did not get a picture of this year's ring around the moon, however I do have a photo from 2006! If I can locate it, I will clip it here...I believe it was posted on the Bravo...
  2. It is when Rob is finally moving out of his Mom's house! LMFAO!
  3. No need to upset them more, however if there is a solution such as drugging them (for lack of a better thought) and they agree, then that is acceptable. Making someone more uncomfortable can hurt them more than help them. Remember, we try to calm down psychs, not get them more agitated. Comfort is a part of your job!
  4. Especially with tints and 22's!
  5. This Gun was developed on a military grant and is still in the military testing stage. The cost to Police dept's may be excessive at this time. Eventually it will make its way down just like all military technology does.
  6. Hey Chris...don't you wish Yonkers would do this! Must be really confusing on a Friday Night when we have what 150 cars out there? Especially in the Hot Spots!
  7. Actually it has a lower profile LED light bar...poss Patriot... And it is definitely a Tahoe, not a Suburban...shorter than that pic!
  8. Serious gamer who has aspirations to make it to the finals in Japan!

  11. Excellent call ALS since they were definitely sure with 2 f's...... I am kind of surprised that the flight nurse jumped in to help on the ambulance to HVHC, but KUDOS to whoever that was. Sounded like a bad accident and a good job by everyone involved. Patient ultimately got to where he needed to go due to quick thinking and his survival chances were well improved by the split second decision.
  12. WHAT????!!!!! Whew... Also like the Escape's...are they Hybrids cause that would be smart! Although hybrids don't do better when idling all the time. And who cares what the "A" looks like. These vehicles are there for a specific reason, to provide care to the sick and injured in a timely fashion! Thanks for the pics, but enough of the ridiculous posts about looks!

  15. Thanks to Aviation for making our job simpler once again... This is a pretty cool device...and it was actually the first time that I heard of it and got to "hear" it used. Too bad I didn't have anything else for ya'll to do while you were in town!

  17. Let's Go Mets? Am I too late.... ROFLMAO! 2 straight years of chokes! Only Spike Lee can out-do them! By the way...Sabathia will be a Yankee...
  18. First of all, this has got to be horrible to live with. Secondly, weather absolutely played a role! It was raining and apparently the officer hit a puddle just before hitting the pedestrian. Thirdly, what about the pedestrian crossing the street randomly? I saw no crosswalk there...and obviously with a car coming it was unsafe to enter the roadway even if it wasn't a police cruiser. As a driver, I am tired of people just crossing the street when they feel like it. This occurs daily in Yonkers, especially on my way to work. I have nearly hit a number of people but thank the good Lord I haven't! The press keeps saying things about the officer but how about the pedestrians responsibility to make sure it is clear to cross? The road looked straight enough, not like the car came out of nowhere! Prayers for the officer involved...nothing that I would want to live with even though it doesn't appear to be his fault! and MoFire390...are you kidding me? Cops are trained to drive fast and in emergency situations. They also do it more often due to the job standards. And there aren't more accidents because of training and experience! This could have very well been some blue lighter going to a call, then what would you have to say? Use your head man!
  19. Unfortunately this has happened twice. Someone aught to do something before it happens again. If it happens a 3rd time the MTA might as well take responsibility! I understand people are idiots but maybe, just maybe they need to idiot proof this crossing a bit! Like additional lighting, signage, or something that might wake these people up. Forbid that it is worse next time and people get killed on the train!
  20. Used to love the Peekskill Bon Fires before the football game against Hen Hud...don't know if they do it anymore though! But this one looked hot and a bit excessive!
  21. This sounds cool...I know where my Mom lives in NC they have a gate to the community and her garage door opener's 2nd button had to be programmed to work on the gate and now it does both. No different than putting a frequency in a portable radio. Similar to a knox box, no?
  22. Wow, roofsopen...do you know how long it takes to collect on insurance. No one is asking you to go without so they can go with. You should find a hole and crawl into it, and never come back out! As for those that plan to help our comrades in Texas and all the other places past and future...Kudos to you! Don't fall into the depression that encompasses "that guy" on this site!
  23. You mean it is safe to drive back from North Carolina now?
  24. Hey doc...I got this rash...well, no not from the game...from the cheerleader over there...she gets around.
