  3. What is the actual percentage of 911 calls vs the 7 digit number. I see more 7 digit calls vs 911. Also the more hands that process the call the response time is increased.
  4. Kitbashing is related to many different hobbies, such as model railroading. When you take a particular model and add of subtract materials to change its look. Also model cars and trucks when you change it color etc and markings

  16. ON MARCH 18 ENGINE #1 WAS LOADED ON HORSELESS CARRIAGE TRANSPORT AND IS NOW ENROUTE BACK TO FFD. PHOTOS TO FOLLOW =D> =D> =D> =D>
  17. When the Fairview Fire District was organized in 1928 their first Apparatus purchase was a 1928 Ahrens Fox Engine Model NS-4 Engine 1 served as front line pumper unitl 1954. It was then placed into reserve status until 1966 when it was sold to George Proper in the Albany NY area. It was sold to a party in Mass. in the late 1970s And then to a Fire Truck Collector in California in 1979??. The Fairivew Fire Dept tracked it down in 1977 but is was not for sale. On March 4 2004 members of the Fairivew Fire Dept traveled to Big Bear Lake California with then intent to purchase same. I am glad to report within the next 30 days Engine 1 will return to its original owner the Fairview Fire Dept. The Engine is in running condition and with most of the original equiptment and the hose. DC2T will submit photos
