Was already posted earlier in the thread but here it is again. Tate Avenue from Kings Ferry to the Village Circle. Then Up Westchester Avenue to the Village Pavillion. Reviewing stand is on Tate Ave in Front of Village Hall. We are hosting a friendship night at our HQ tonight at 7pm. Food, Drink and a Live Band. Come see the newly refurbished Engine 160. All are welcome. Hope to see everyone tonight and tomorrow.

Westchester County Convention route will be Tate Ave. to Buchanan Village Circle to Westchester Ave. to Buchanan Village Pavillion. Any departments that have not yet responded as to their participation are urged to do so. We look forward to hosting this event and hope to see you there!

Frank- My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

The new rig is almost the exact same length as the one it is replacing. The front and rear bumpers were shortened to fit it in the bay. It looks short due to the addition of an actual crew compartment which seats four firefighters behind the driver and officer. This is one of the main advantages of this vehicle as three of our four current rigs (R-26, E-161 and U-12) can only seat four or fewer personel each. The walk-thru area of the current rig was basically a waste of space. The new box will have a pull-out tray in the rear compartment and a transverse slider at the front end of the box. Everything on the current truck will fit on the new rig.

BTW- just for the recored, there was a public meeting to discuss the purchase of this truck and how it would be financed at the fire house last month. It was posted on the community channel and in the paper. Nobody showed up.
