as westchester continues to rely on each other someone has to fill in the communication gap. as always when the depts. in that area go on mutual aid the lack of communications is always present. even when units go into yonkers the radios assigned to units such as fdmv are not capable of recieving info from the mutual aid depts. yes,46.26 is available but on the firground there is no radio communications between them all. the solution? good question-again a problem that has gone un solved for years!
