1stResponder Wireless reported heavy fire on the # 3 floor on arrival, and the fire went to a 3rd alarm. and the building suffered extensive damage. Suprisingly there is nothing in the Middletown Record.

Isn't the Village of KJ with in Monroe's district? I would think Monroe would respond in before Woodbury.

Also, along with the two engines, truck and rescue KJ has, what kind of manpower is provided and their level of training?

The fire was just outside the village, but the people who called it in called the KJFD 7-digit emergency number so it went strait to KJ EMS, who dispaches KJFD, and they dispatched KJFD. As for goin in, KJFD has a dozen Scott 4.5 60 minute packs which when they arrive on scene of a fire they pack up and do a primary search, once the primary is complete they step back and go in to a defensive operation until Mombasha arrives. Also contrary to belief KJFD responds as the primary fire agency 24/7, even on sabbath and holy holidays.

As for apparatus they have:

3 Engines

1 Heavy Rescue

1 Rearmount Tower

I Brush Truck

1 Command Vehicle
