My first time attending this parade, and it was great! Got to see a lot of apparatus I haven't seen before or haven't seen in a long time.

Among some random observations:

-Patterson's Ladder is a lot like Somers, or vice-versa.

-Where was Engine 119? And Engine 182 I'd like to them in at least one parade this year!

-Mahopac's Rescue is awesome! I've never seen it before. So is the Falls.

-Verplanks Bronto is kewl, their Ford Explorer, like Car 2533, is lit up quite nicely.

-The weather was awesome, and so was my "seat"

-Putnam Lakes ALF and Brush unit were neat, and so was Carmel's Seagrave Lo-Pro engine.

I'm sure I have many more random thoughts, but I'm tired and thats it for now.

Photos have been submitted to EMTBravo.com and should be posted shortly.

Hey 635

Engine 119 will be in the Brewster parade and the Ossining parade before the year is up. Hopefully we'll win a couple more trophies since the village wants to sell her since we're getting the new seagrave! :D

Croton Falls Engine 147 had a small mishap during the line-up- I think it may be out of service, but not sure-

Apparently a bus thought it could squeeze through :-k , but instead it locked mirrors with 147, and pulled the upper half of the door out.

Ah, the casulties of a parade!!

Leaving such a beautiful and classic piece unseen should be a crime!!! I hope to see it plenty in 2006!!!!!

X635,

I'm glad you were able to get so many shots of the apparatus. The Parade will be shown localy on Suscom Ch 8 in the next week or so. We feel real bad for out neighbors at Croton Falls for what happened to E-147. I hope that everyone attending had a great time. We would like to thank all the departments that were there with special thanks to those departments that marched the next day in another parade.
