8 posts in this topic

Rye's new Engine 192 a 2006 Seagrave should be arriving first few weeks of October. Rye also just ordered a 2006 Seagrave low profile 100ft rearmount ladder which will be a twin to ladder 25.

As far as I know, the ladder funding has been approved and specs have been started but are not finished and has not been ordered. The only thing ordered for the ladder was the Detroit diesel.

Everything is complete. Twin to Ladder 25 with some minor changes and upgrades.

OK here are 2 quick photos of Rye's new Engine. They obviously wouldn't pull it out of the bay due to all the equipment that you can see on the front of the truck that needs to be mounted. I am sure someone from Rye will get some better shots when it is outside.

I am also surprised to see what appears to be an Opticom emitter...  I guess they will be installing the system at some intersections in Rye.

That is a light for scene lighting not the opticom system. If you are talking about the white slim box on the front top of the cab.
