That was a pretty close call on that one. That could have made that scene a whole lot worse.

Agreed on the poor driving...

...but where's PD with the crowd control??? Granted I'm not sure how things work wherever this was shot, but here in the US PD usually provides some sort of crowd control. Some of these people were way too close to the fire scene and were crowding the streets. Maybe it was early on the dispatch (obviously the fire had been burning for a while), but who knows...

Either way, no excuse for that kind of driving. blink.gif

yea, e92l44 picked up wat i was goin say, obvioulsy besides the drivin of a 16 yr who just got his liscense, the ff's who stretched the line doesnt have a helmet or pack on, and no one else seems to have a pack on

instead of looking at the glass half empty, how about half full- the driver did a nice recovery from rolling the truck over or rear ending the engine. remember, safety is not an accident.

yes I agree it was a nice save, but they shouldnt have made the turn so quickly even if the fire was 4 more blocks away there were so many people standing there they should have been cautious and ready for anything
