Yorktown- Multiple Alarm Fire 10-9-04

Location: Yorktown Fire District 1798 Front Street (Yorktown Auto Body)

Frequency: 46.26 / 453.5625 (D606) / UHF Fireground 7 & FC1 to 60 Control is on 46.14

Units Operating: YHFD: 2531, 2532, E271, E273, E275, L51; Mohegan 2262, 2263, E255, L35, FAST; Somers E188; BHFD 2032, TL57, WCDES Car 2, Bat 12, Bat 16, Haz-Mat 1, Field Com 1; YPD, YVAC, DEC, NYSEG

Description Of Incident: Fully involved fire at 1 story commercial auto-body, 125 x 75 ft. Last 10-29 was 4 L/S/O and 3 Ladder pipes working, fire doubtful.

Update - Katonah Engine 117 to Yorktown HQ / Mount Kisco E103 & TL14 at scene working @0847

Update - Field Com 1 reports that Katonah E117 & Mount Kisco TL14 will be covering fire calls in Yorktown until further notice. E103 commited to fire scene.

Originally dispatched as Dante’s deli, actually auto body garage next door on Front St. per YPD update. Caller was from the shell station on Commerce st.
