Marine 4 came over the radio wanting to check it out, and chased the smoke from the Sound. I called 60 to find out what was up and told them to stay in service. Car 10(Bx Boro Comm.) also wanted to know what was up.

I know a crew from 88/38 was doing hydrant checks and they could see the smoke.

Aside from exmrvfc's photo taking location there really weren't any good places to get photos. I drove around for a good amount of time but with all the closures and traffic etc, the only half decent location I could find was the Potter Ave bridge (you still couldn't see the trucks though they were blocked by the toll plaza). By the time I got out, there wasn't much to photograph.

That was officially in NRFD district. Not by much, but it was. Nice job by the boys from NRFD.
