8 posts in this topic

Pelham was originally dispatched for the Engine. Were they unable to respond or were there 2 Engines and a Truck MA to Sta. 3?

B18 also responded, communicated with 60 Control on 46.14

It continues to boggle the mind why New Rochelle comes in a the Primary First Mutual Aid Responders. But, Yonkers is not second. Pelham and Greenville over Yonkers????

Pelham did not respond as stated earlier. Procedure for responding on mutual aid calls requires the call back of three paid men to cover Pelham. Once they arrive, the men that were on duty respond with Engine 5. If none of the call backs succeed, then Pelham does not respond.

I do not know Pelham Manor's procedures with respect to mutual aid requests from other cities. Maybe ECLEMENTE could fill us in.

Maybe to help settle some of the gossip and boggle. Yonkers is not second on the mutual aid list and hasn't been since 99 or early 2000.That is because before then everytime Mt.Vernon had more then one room going they would call Yonkers for mutual aid,in fact sometimes leaving a place for a Yonkers ladder in front of the building.Yonkers was spending way more time in Mt.Vernon cause they wouldn't hire more men. Plain and simple If you don't know don't assume
