Flip school is officer school i believe - Lt/ Captain/ etc. Usually depts from Westchester send their officers to the FDNY flip school for some period of time if i'm not mistaken.

Congratulations Jimmy its a well deserved promotion to a great person.

FLSP is a State mandated program where all first line must attend a 4 week program--All career firefighters that get promoted must attend by law.

The program is conducted by FDNY--upon graduation of FLSP the Officer has level 1 instructors certificiation and many other certifications.. Its a great program anad has beenin existence since mayby 1985
