Fairview FD promotes 1, hires 3 new firefighters

GREENBURGH - The Fairview Fire Department will welcome a new fire captain and three new firefighters during a swearing-in ceremony at fire headquarters tonight.

Fire Chief Robert Mauro said James Danyko will take the captain's oath of office, and Firefighters Bryan Peterson, Neil Davino and Michael Murray will be sworn in.

The four will also receive their bages.

The ceremony, open to the public, is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. at the firehouse at 19 Rosemont Blvd.
