That 700 is really not that bad looking. See if you can talk them down especially if it is not running.

Brings back memories. I remember HFD's old E 171.

No adjustible seat

No power steering

Tiny little windshield wipers

No roof...rain hurt your face

No heater, but you could warm your hands by holding them in the exhaust

Try backing it up...the back was wider than the front and the mirrors stuck out on rods, vibrating so much you only saw blur

That would be great, I have only a few things left to do and Iam done, but could always use extra parts.

Also my Explorer Post has restored back to working condition a 1955 700 series ALF 85' Ladder. We are missing 1 pompier ladder and mounting brackets.
