Scarsdale Fire 12-19-08?

Anyone have any info on the fire at 59 Crane Rd in scarsdale?

2431, 2432,2433, 2434, E-54, E-56, TL-29, Hartsdale E-170 F.A.S.T. Greenville Ladder 4, White Plains Engine to scene

Yea working fire, heavy fire 2nd floor,

undercontrol 1124hrs, overhauling. holding all units.

1144hrs relase all m/a, 1 mos transported by SVAC minor injury.

Looks like that was quite a stretch in! How close was the first due engine and truck able to get to the structure? It's hard to see from the photo, but I'm pretty sure 54 was first due, and it was out on the street....didn't see the new Ladder 28 in action...anyone here get shots?

Just an example why Scarsdale needs better staffing and compensation, and a mini attack....people want to live in these huge houses that require more labor to exntiguish fires, then they should pay accordingly.

Was there a driveway they could of laid in from? From the pic on Lohud it looks like it was without a driveway and the house just had a 75 - 100 foot (or more) setback from the street.

Where was the 3rd Scarsdale Engine Company (55)?

Were you able to work this job before most of the storm showed up?

Oh, were D-Ball or Mtych there????? Silly Ex-dispatchers playing firemen....LOL.
