Night Vision Goggles/Monocles/Equipment

8 posts in this topic

I'm trying to find out how many PD's in Westchester County have night vision goggles or other NV technology available to them and who in the department has access to it (patrol, SWAT, supervisors, etc.).

If you don't want to post it here or can't post it here, please PM me.

Thanks in advance!

Chris

Chris:

I don't recall whether my tac team does or not. I'll get back to you on it.

All I know is that I still attribute the change in my eyesight while in the Corps to the high use of night vision.

In Yonkers, the department gave the precinct anti crime units night vision as well as regular binoculars and image stabilization binoculars... they work pretty well

Every truck and supervisor vehicle is equipped with night vision, thermal imaging camera's, maxi beams along with other stuff. Bullard tac sights, maxi beams came from the county and I don't remember the night vision brand.
