Robber apprehended today after eluding firefighter and trooper; charges pending

LAGRANGEVILLE — The suspect of alleged gas station robbery that took place earlier today was taken into custody thanks to some quick thinking from a LaGrange firefighter.

I was listening to it on the scanner while getting the hair cut at the local barbershop. Probaly the most exciting hair cut I have had in a while. :-)

I know one thing...in about 5 to 15 years...if I worked in LaGrange...I'd be hanging a sign above my bunk that says "not Jason." LOL.

Ryan saw someone running from the gas station while he was driving on Route 55 and was alerted by the gas station owner that a robbery had just occurred. Ryan lost track of the suspect, who was driving north on Freedom Road, but was able to give deputies a partial description of the suspect’s license plate.

He didn't try to do the job of a police officer and put himself in danger; he was a great witness and facilitated the arrest! Outstanding job, Jason!

5-15 years? Ya think? I'm betting 2-3 years probation after pleading guilty to a reduced charge and getting credit for time served.
