We had an ice rescue drill this morning on lake mahopac and I took some pics so I figured I'd post them. Thanks again to the mahopac falls dive team for hosting this.

Yeah this is one of the cooler training things that we get to do and I'm not sure how thick the ice was I didn't ask.

Ahh the hat kept me nice and warm... As for the ice- it was about 5-7 inches thick, and mostly nice and smooth for nice easy ride with the hovercraft... This is the 2nd year MFVFD has hosted this drill for LCFD Explorers, and we were able to have Brewster Explorers join us this year- like many of the explorers have said its a good day of training cover many different aspects of the winter season emergencies...

As for the lil mva vs Bennie- he didnt move quick enough, but hes fine...
