Also, we just scheduled one for August 1st & 2nd (No Flyer Yet) to be held at the Westchester County Fire Training

Center. May be a good goal for the FF1 & FF2 classes. If there is a National Exam other than FF1 or FF2, arrangements can be made for written tests to be given at the same time the written is taken for these. If someone would like to take a written only exam, please contact the NYS Fire Academy at (607) 535-7136 ext. 610 for Fire Protection Specialist Al Deming.

Might be worth blocking out those dates if you're interested. Last time the exams were offered in Westchester (a couple years ago) they cancelled the exam because they didn't have enough people sign up. We'll see if there's better luck this time.

The FFI and FFII national certification testing is a go for August 1st and 2nd in Westchester. We still have a few openings if you get the applications in by this Friday at Noon to the training center. Info on the website www.emergencyservices.westchestergov.com
