"October 21, 1938 - July 4, 2009 Arnold S. Reif, Emmy-Award Winning Television Director and longtime Sloatsburg resident, passed away Saturday at the age of 70. Arnold was very involved in civic and government activities, including serving 44 years in the Sloatsburg Volunteer Fire Department as volunteer, Ex-Chief and Past President. He also served on the Sloatsburg Village Board, was Deputy Mayor, Chairman of the Sloatsburg Planning Board, and was Police Commissioner for the Town of Ramapo."
