I-84 - 7/22 Errant Tire Hits Other Vehicle

Wednesday 7-22-09 10:23 pm - SUV looses tire on I-84 westbound and smashes into a eastbound Ford Explorer. Driver had a serious head injuries & passenger & 2 dogs had minor injurys. MM 42.7

I wonder if they even saw it coming. Worst I had was on the Deegan, a kid took a steel pipe through the windshield grazed his head and imbedded in his headrest. Only because he drove leaning on his center console is he still alive. He didn't see it coming, just saw the windshield "explode" in his face.

Kudos to the drive for not wrecking after this happened.

They probably didn't see it coming, it was dark out there. She was very lucky, it also helped that she was short. If she had wrecked it would not have been good.
