7 posts in this topic

My department is looking to donate our original fire truck to a museum or maybe to the collector in orange county. I don't know his name though. It needs work so any ideas to who I can contact that would be great.

We're running out of space. We want to donate it with the ability to use it for parades and funerals.

The gentleman's name is Andy Leider. He has a warehouse full of apparatus he hopes to turn into a museum soon. The Catskill Firecats recently held a muster there.

You might be able to get his contact info via the Catskill Firecats website: http://www.catskillfire-cats.com/

Or AndyC3Jeeper may have it.....

Some of his collection can be viewed here:

If you can get some pics of it, and/or some more info, I'll run it past him next time I see him. I know he was cutting down on purchasing/acquiring for a while, mainly due to running low on space, but if the right piece comes along, he takes it anyway.
