Has anyone seen this in their areas, and what kind of hazards could this pose?

A wrapped condominium Foreclosures, dried-up financing and simple bad timing means countless South Florida construction projects now sit unfinished and all but abandoned. In the subtropical climate, the wood develops mold and degrades and the metal rusts.

I used plastic wrap on my pool to hold the pool cover on. It works great and stops the wind from getting under the cover

Never seen this locally, but I have worked with the stuff in the past. Basicly it is a glorified tarp. Keeps the elements out. If there is a fire underneath the wrap, it wont be there for long. Doesnt take much for it to burn away. The article talks about security provided by the wrap, well all it takes to get in is a knife.
