I have his "Command and Control of Fires and Emergencies" in my Library (see: Bathroom). Great read. Got that, Norman's Fire Officer's Handbook of Tactics and others too.

Great pics!!! I echo the comments too that the YFD did a great job keeping this fire from getting into the exposures.

While we're asking trivia questions about good fire texts; anybody know what John Norman's nickname is/was? (scroll down for answer)

A: Square-peg. One heck of a good textbook though.
