Description Of Incident: Boat Overturned in the Hudson River

0939: Boat overturned- Person in the water just north of the Croton Landing

0940: As per car 2082- OVAC stage at the Croton Yacht Club

0941: As per car 2082- Take E120 to pick up water suits,E119 respond to the Croton Yacht Club (Rescue is OOS)

0941: Location is north of Croton Landing- boat overturned people in the Hudson

0944: Montrose VA Marine 21 requested to scene

0948: Additional personnel needed for 2nd ambulance (Croton) to the Hudson River

0954: Briarcliff EMS needed to standby at OVAC

0958: 2 people confirmed in the water

0959: Marine 21 responding

1005: Marine Unit to OVAC- on board with 2 people heading to Croton Yacht Club- need treatment for Hypothermia

1020: Patients handed over to OVAC, all units clear

GREAT JOB BY ALL UNITS ON SCENE!

"Marine 1 (OPD personnel on board) arrived on scene to find two people hanging onto overturned boat. Both parties brought on board Marine 1 and treated (first aid) for hypothermia. Transported into Half Moon bay to OVAC Marine 21 arrived as we were pulling away with victims and secured their boat. Rockland Sheriffs arrived later and assisted Sea Tow with securing boat."- OnTheWheel
