Continental Village-Car into Pond-5/2/10

5 posts in this topic

On Sunday May 2nd Continental Village Fire Department, and Peekskill Vac were dispatched to Highland drive for a PIAA, vehicle off the road in the water. Upon arrival units found the driver out of the water and unharmed. His vehicle however was completely submerged and had floated out into the middle of the pond. Units used our small marine unit to take the tow truck operator out to the vehicle and attach the tow cable to it. Units also put absorbent booms out to prevent any fluids from leaving the pond. Units remained on scene for approximately 2 hours until the car was completely removed from the water

Perhaps he wanted to go fishing but forgot his boat. Probably figured that he payed for an Audi, it should float!

This is why I always carry an underwater camera in my car...just in case.laugh.gif
