PIERMONT — Police have arrested a member of the Piermont Fire Department after he and two teenagers were accused of exposing themselves to a 16-year-old at the firehouse in August.

I wonder if a background check was done on this guy. Perhaps something would have surfaced to make the FD aware of the creep they let in. What a sick story...i hope the harassed party is doing alright.

What makes Officers in any Dept.Career or Volunteer think this is ok? And where does it say the Chiefs accept this behavior? There are idiots that slip through the cracks in any job you can think of, including employees of the "White House"!!! Im sure he will be dismissed from the Dept. Dont make this a volunteer only thing.

Check out I think this months Firehouse, or one of the mags, it lists a few recent incidents from FD's paid and Volunteer..including on duty sex between career firefighters, 3 guys and 1 girl I think...so it slips through everywhere. Also we dont know what was done, the Chiefs may have found out about this when it hit the papers, IM sure something wa done as soon as this came to light to the Chiefs and or Board if they have one. be safe all!

For whatever it's worth, this guy was NOT an officer anymore, and hasn't been since the last elections the past spring. The JN relied on stale info from Piermont's website (which has since had the Members and Officers roster removed).
