Awesome. Thanks for the shots! I like the new paint scheme, sort of similar to APD's new scheme.

The old 914, I guess it's 50-B-2 now? Did they add on to the building so both ambulances are housed?

They've come a long way since when my grandfather founded the ambulance corps and it ran out of my grandmother's house until the old bank arrived, lol!

Looks like one mic may be sitting on the floor. The mount for it is visible in the picture.

Yes, the old 914 is now 50-B2. Its currently housed in a tent behind the building, but construction plans have been approved for a new bay. All three radios have mics, one of them is just not visible -- trunked radio is on ardsley pd, one is set to ardsley fd, and one is set to ardsley pd's old band. Also, I believe the second shore line is a block heater.

It could be an independent power source to the box which allows the box to fully function without having to run the motor. Helps out at scenes with prolonged duration incidents where a unit like this might be doing RAC duties so long as there is a unit on scene that can provide power from their onboard generator....

R-36 in Millwood has this function.... It allows the unit to run the heat and air, as well as lights, 120v outlets, pre wired rechargeable devices, etc.... Lets the rig serve as a mobile command post if it doesn't need to operate the hurst tool....

50B1 has been in service for over a year now and was actually a gift from the Carvel Foundation. (Members wanted to paint it pink and purple, put a freezer in the back, and sell ice cream lol!) The old ambulance was originally set to replaced in 2011-12. Originally the board of governors were hesitant to keep two ambulances due to possible daytime staffing issues. However with 60 calls a month including lots of mutual aid to Dobbs Ferry and Greenburgh, members have stepped in a huge way and have no trouble staffing two ambulances.

The second connection is used for the block heater. 50B2 also has a second connection

Why is the county trunked radio on PD Dispatch rather than EMS 14?

No idea, it's an issue that a bunch of people have raised and we're looking for a solution.
