I think all three rigs are complete. Maybe someone can clarify a due date as to when they will arive in The Vern.

Interesting, if you click on the picture of E-5, and zoom in, it looks like there is a rearward facing camera on the Drivers side door.

As per the City of Mount Vernon website: "The new trucks will be in service in approximately two weeks. The one pumper and the aerial truck will be housed at Station 2 on Fulton Avenue and the other engine at the Fire HQ on Lincoln Avenue."

Cool. So the rigs will replace Engine 5, Engine 6, and Ladder 3.

Interesting indeed. Also, I wonder why the lettering is "Engine E-5", rather than just "Engine 5" or "E-5".
