MobileSpike - Mobile Spike Strips

I have not heard nor saw these until I saw the video, but one thing that comes to mind is that at a high rate of speed, that is a very small surface area you have to get in contact with the tire to be effective.

If you are too close, will the perps car hit/catch the extendable bar and possibly cause your car to swerve?

NYPD has them, they're rarely ever deployed though.

Didnt know ESU had them. Too busy marking hydrant locations with the RMP.

Probably like flash bangs, they need to get permission from Chief of Department or higher. By then its over

No permission is needed to deploy them.
