Call came in for report of smoke coming from bathroom on 2nd flr of 2.5 story house. Upon arrival, C2 and 1st due units report heavy fire showing from 2nd flr. . 2 lines stretched and in operation.

E3 special called to scene.

1225 - 3 lines now in operation. Attacking on 2nd floor via ladders. Stairs are gone & floor on 2nd floor is compromised.

1230 - 2 firefighters fell through stairs. Being evaluated by EMS.

0100(approx)-Fire placed under control. Secondary searches negative.

UPDATE: There were 3 firefighters who fell through interior stairs. All are fine, with one sustaining 2nd degree burns to his arm due to embers burning through his coat.
