I'm interested to see if any local agencies (Fire/Police/EMS) have taken any steps to deal with the heat the past few days.

For example, a heat awareness campaign, extra water or coolers on trucks, extra engine for rehab, etc?

Peekskill routinely activates cooling centers in the Neighborhood Center on Nelson Ave for the general public & in the community rooms of the senior buildings for their residents. There is a plan that details when these centers are activated.
