Kent, CT., Firematic BRAT in production

Firematic Manufacturing has now started another B.R.A.T (Brush Rapid Attack Truck) in our area for our neighbors in Kent, CT., the unit will be almost identical (it will not be blue) to our unit, this will add to the growing list that with Wassaic (2), Rhinecliff, Pawling (will be delivered this week) and Washington CT in our area.

  • 2014 Ford F550 2 Door 4x4 Chassis w/ 19,500 lbs. GVW
  • Super Single Aggressive Tread 19.5" Interco Irok Tires
  • Lightweight Aluminum Fabricated Flatbed with FEA Tested Roll Bar
  • Pro Poly 400 Gallon Protector Skid w/ 10 gal. Foam Cell
  • Hale HPX300 - B18 Gasoline Pump
  • Hale Pro Kit Stainless Steel Inlet and Discharge Manifold
  • Exhaust Primer
  • Scotty "Around the Pump" Class A Foam Eductor System
  • Two Aluminum Diamond Plate Rear 1.5" Hose Trays
  • Two Electric Hannay Reels Mounted on Tank (1) 200' of 1" Lightweight Booster and (1) 1000' of 1" Forestry hose
  • (4) Aluminum Diamond Plate Compartments with ROM roll up doors.

Is this to replace what burnt up last year at the brush fire?

I believe that has been replaced by an engine company from Gowans-Knight, prehaps ex-Watertown (although might have been a loaner).
