It is with deep regret the Montgomery Fire Department announces the passing of Firefighter & Chairman of the Board of Fire Commissioners Charles Wallace. Charlie passed away last night due to injuries received while on duty on January 10th while directing traffic. He will be greatly missed. Funeral details are incomplete at this time, there will be more info to follow. Please keep his family in your thoughts, may he rest in peace.

Any firematic representation attending the services are asked to be at the Trinity Lutheran Church for line-up no later than 9:30 AM. Parking for apparatus and chief’s vehicles will be located directly across the street from the church at the American Lumber parking lot. Overflow parking will be available at nearby locations as directed by fire police. There will be a gathering for fire service personnel after the service at the Walden firehouse, a short distance from the church. Any questions contact Chief Robert Pressler.
