The City of New Rochelle is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide consulting services for a FIRE DEPARTMENT CONSOLIDATED FLEET MAINTANCE STUDY. The study will involve four (4) municipal fire departments and one (1) Fire District.

I know New Rochelle has their own maintenance facility at the rear basement of Station 1, however as far as I remember, it can hold one or two trucks.

 

I think that having a fleet maintenance "cooperative" is an excellent idea that can lower costs and decrease out of service time, but what facilities would be used?
