This will be a new UHF operations frequency to replace 46.06.

This channel will have a repeater to ensure citywide coverage, as well as radio coverage in mutual aid areas.

R U sure the 5 is supposed to be at the end of that frequency? Cuz my scanner only has 3 nimbers after the decimal point.

The 5 is not needed for a scanner input freq. It will work with out it in your scanner.

If you would be so kind to advise the PL or DPL that will be used on the new freq. thank you.

As JReed stated, it will be going into service as soon as possible. They're currently doing extensive testing to the system, including range/coverage, to make sure it works perfectly all over New Ro before putting it online. Put the frequency into your scanner, and you'll hear when it goes online after they are satisfied and comfortable with everything.

PL/DPL is coming soon.

I know they have been testing with good luck even with the FCC keep the watts down in the repeater. Does anyone know if they have installed radios in the rigs yet? I wasn't aware that this was going to be going online anytime soon.

NRFD,

You must have an older scanner. Just enter in the who frequency as is and it will take. It will not show up on the readout on the screen.
